This first issue I've already posted in my live journal, but I figured I'd post it here too. I seem to be organizing a lot of things lately, but here's one I'd really appreciate if you'd help me out with. There's going to be a Parkinson Reasearch walk on October 9th, and I thought it would be kinda neat to get a team together. It's only a 2 mile walk, whatever donations received are welcomed and some of the events that are scheduled for participants are massages, entertainment, t-shirts, and information from specialists. There are also 2 auctions and it should be a lot of fun if a bunch of us do it. I know that the disease and other neurological diseases usually don't affect people as young as we are, but its a good cause and I'm sure most people know at least one person who has a neurological problem.

Secondly, any one besides Noreen and Hannah interested in helping me out with the Halloween Trail? Its tenatively scheduled for October 22nd. Yes, I know I've pestered everyone about this already, and I want to make it clear that you don't need to help organize it if you're too busy or not interested in stuff like that, but I need a rough idea of how many people I can count on to act in it or help setup and stuff. The number's important, because some scenarios simply won't work unless we have enough actors. And we need to know what we're working with before we design it. :)

So let me know if you're interested in either activity, just email me or call me :)

Already posted this in my own journal, but whatever.

From the JCC webpage:

Ok, fine. So we had to allow *some* adults from the JCC audition to be in our high school drama club production. That's annoying in and of itself. BUT ALL AGES????? So people from other high schools can audition and be in our play? What the hell? And I love how "Amity High School" is in really small print. And it's about the JCC community theatre in collaboration with Amity.

Barkin. Ugh.

Anybody else see a big problem with this or am I just overreacting?
